A Mission-Focused Renovation

Walking into our newly renovated building, visitors are met with a beautiful, safe, and welcoming space reflecting our mission “to improve the quality of life for at-risk children and families” within our communities. Enhanced security at the entrance along with colorful, engaging classrooms and warm therapy and meeting rooms, provide a supportive place to learn, be nurtured and grow.

Inside the classroom, educators deploy programs like the High Scope Curriculum which is customized to each child’s needs for developing educational, social/emotional, and cognitive skills. Outside, a wraparound playground with two separate, brand-new play areas and a tricycle track guarantee stimulating and fun ways to build motor skills, while learning to play together cooperatively.

Along with our classrooms, we have incorporated spaces for therapy programs. Art, Speech, and Family Therapy are housed in soothing spaces designed to enhance these nurturing, vital services. Executive Director, Sue Dannemiller sums it up, saying, “We are very focused on creating a warm and nurturing as well as a structured environment.
